Sometimes I have asked myself are all the good bulk candy vending locations already taken?

Well, if you are brand new setting up a vending route it can sure seem like this.

I know that when I was looking at setting up my first machines it seemed like everywhere I went there was a machine already in the location.

Don't let this intimidate you though. Many vending machine operators do not take very good care of their machines and sometimes they will seem neglected. This presents a great opportunity for you.

If you talk to the business owner and they are already complaining about the current machines it gives you that opportunity to shine and tell them how well you will maintain your machines in their establishment.

Many times if you are better than the competition, with a little coaxing you can even have them let the other operator know they no longer require their services. This is really great if you are in a restaurant location.

The other thing is you can look at the offerings and suggest that you will carry something different that might be more appealing to their customers.

Another thing is that there are new stores and businesses popping up all the time. Make sure you get to these early and see if they will let you be the first in their establishment to carry a charity vending machine.

The other thing you can do if many locations in your area are taken is also look at buying other routes out. If there is cards on the machines, give the owner a ring and research their business and make them an offer for the machines. Many will jump at the chance to make some quick cash.

So if it looks like all of the bulk candy vending locations have been taken, think again. You have options.
