Haven't looked into this yet but it seems like less hassle than vending sodas and snacks. I own a San Diego Vending company and my business partner is always mentioning this option. It seems to me that you would need to service these machines less often but would also need to place more machines to make it profitable.
Yes, one of the advantages is that you don't have to service these machines every week unless you have one heck of a location. Profit margins are extremely high but yes the larger the route the better the profits. One of the secrets is relocating your bottom 10% locations and continually improving the profits each location is making. I was traveling to San Diego quite a bit 2 years ago, what a beautiful city? I loved it there. I really enjoy Florida also, but something about the mountains and ocean was awesome.
