i am thinking about buying 32 vendstar 4000 machines. i was told this would generate about $2000 a month. is this realistic
I will give you my honest opinion. I would also like others that visit this blog to chime in on this question. Ok, if lets say 80% of you machines do $15-20 per months. This would be about 26 machines at say $20 (Will estimate on the high side) that would be $520. Lets say you have 3 low performers that only do $10. Now you are at $550. Now your 3 top performers are doing say $80 per month. This would be $550 + $240 or around $790 per month. This would be my realistic estimate. Good luck on the purchase! Steve
As Steve said, whoever told you that is "puffing" the average. He also forgot to mention that those machines are one of the hardest and time consuming to service and have a terrable track record for reliability and high records for problems.
Without sounding like a commercial, be sure to read some of the older posts on this, Steve's' Bulkvending blog, and our site at www.candymachines.com. We also have some good general information.
If you have any questions about anything just give me a call and I'll be happy to help you out ( or anyone else reading this )

Hello. Nice blog you have here. I'm a novice in this business but i have a machine- Amerivend's trivend machine and it's coin mechanism gets jammed from time to time. Twice I've contacted Amerivend and they told me that they would send me a coin mechanism, but now they just told me that they don't have it in stock.
But, anyway, any suggestions on where i can get a chrome trivend quarter coin mechanism? i tried googling it to no avail. thanks!!
I would still recommend calling AmeriVend and Just Back Order it at 1-800-463-8863. Your only other bet is to search on Ebay to see if you can find one. Hope this helps.
did as you suggested. and now they say that indeed do have one in stock and it's being shipped. and based on my history with them, i'll "believe it when i see it".
thanks!!
Eric, glad they had a bulk candy vending machine in stock for you. Good Luck!
